NGPMeet I – Nagpurs First ever Twitter Meetup : Review
NGPMeetup held its first Twitter Meetup at Daya Chambers on 1st of May – 2010. The Meetup saw around 50 Users (also known as Tweeps) of the Social Networking Site – Twitter. The evening started with everyone introducing themselves. After the Introduction, Volunteers of M.A.D (Make a Difference) – A N.G.O working on educating poor children gave a small talk about the work they are doing.The Stage was now open for debate and everyone started debating on topics ranging from Favorite Browsers to Social Media as an instrument of change in Society. Everyone actively participated in the debate. After the debate, everyone proceeded for a Tea Break where everyone mingled and took some pictures. After the Tea Break , the environment turned more casual and some of the tweeps demonstrated their talent in singing and mimicry. In all it was a fun filled evening and was a great experience for like-minded people to socialize. Everybody thanked the entire team of Ngpmeet for holding such a meet.
